Like Bike to the Moon, Footprints was a project completed as part of Eric Paulos's Basic Interaction Design class. Working within the domain of mobile apps that would appeal to senior citizens and would support travel, we brainstormed and designed an app which enables users to recieve and share memories in situ of the memories' actual physical context.
By focusing on enhancing the experience of physically being in locations which are full of memories that your friends and family would want to share with you, our solution leveraged the possibilities of the mobile platform while also attacking a different need than that satiated by other sharing services such as Flickr or Facebook.
